SUMMARY :
Our Client in the Construction Industry is seeking a Sales Rep / New Business Development based in either Cape Town or Durban
POSITION INFO : THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Consultant will be accountable for generating new business and revenue growth through proactive
sales.
The key responsibilities include :
Sales Management :
- Drive sales performance against set targets.
- Promote and maintain the Companies brand as well as ensuring customer satisfaction by taking control of
the delivery process for prompt delivery of products / service.
Offer quality solutions to meet customer needs by conducting proper research and addressing thecustomers needs and pain points.
Develop methods for growth and maintenance of customer base through actively identifying new salesand market opportunities within allocated region as well as keeping in contact with loyal / repeat
customers.
Prepare and submit sales forecasts to the National Sales Manager on a weekly, monthly and quarterlybasis.
Uphold effective and efficient sales process and administration for accurate and accountable salesprocessing and practices and properly utilise the CRM software.
Product Management :
Ensure continuous development and maintenance of own product knowledge for sales excellence.Liaise with National Sales Manager to define marketing campaigns and requirements in collaborationwith respective product specialist.
Stay up to date with new and upcoming regional product launches and ensure attendance thereof.Customer Relationship Management :
Build and improve on long-term client relationships with key defined customers within the region.Drive customer satisfaction through ensuring professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer servicedelivery throughout the region.
Ensure the provision of timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.Make customers feel valued and involved by requesting their feedback and thereby creating constantimprovement on product and service offerings.
Desired Experience & Qualification
A Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, Management or Sales
5+ years B2B, technical sales in the construction industryProven record of new business acquisition
