Applications Engineer

As an Application Engineer at Sedna.net, you will design, develop, and optimize applications that leverage cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, integrating advanced security protocols and 3D system capabilities. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with a diverse skill set and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop applications using C# and .NET for scalable, high-performance solutions.

Implement performance-critical components using C++ .

Build and maintain Web APIs to enable seamless service integration and communication.

Integrate AMQP -based messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ) for reliable data exchange.

Design, optimize, and query PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality.

Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth protocols.

Contribute to 3D systems development, including visualization or processing pipelines.

Apply Cybersecurity best practices to ensure application security and data integrity.

Utilize Matlab for tasks related to Pose Estimation or similar signal-processing applications.

Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot, test, and deploy solutions while maintaining high code quality.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for building robust applications.

Experience with C++ for performance-critical development.

Expertise in designing and implementing Web APIs using RESTful principles.

Hands-on experience with AMQP protocols for messaging systems.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database design, querying, and optimization.

Knowledge of OAuth for secure authentication and authorization.

Experience with 3D systems , such as visualization, rendering, or processing.

Understanding of Cybersecurity principles, including secure coding and threat mitigation.

Familiarity with Matlab for Pose Estimation or related signal-processing tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with Waterfall, Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with Kubernetes

Knowledge of 3D frameworks or libraries (e.g., OpenGL, Unity, or similar).

Exposure to DevSecOps practices for integrating security into the development lifecycle.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
