About the Role

The MiWay Business Insurance department is seeking a Commercial Underwriter to join our Specialist support team.

Minimum Requirements

Regulatory Exam (RE 5)

FAIS credits and Class of Business

Matric / NQF 4

Applicable post-matric insurance qualification (advantageous)

Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience with MIA and TIA

Experience in commercial claims (beneficial)

Experience in commercial insurance sales or servicing (beneficial)

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to work independently

Strong people skills

Analytical ability and attention to detail

Ability to work accurately under pressure

Knowledge and Personal Attributes

Client service and complaint handling
