Accounting Manager (Entrepreneurial Business Services) – Cape Town

Shift Pursuit is recruiting on behalf of a reputable audit and accounting firm for an Accounting Manager in their Entrepreneurial Business Services division. This role is suited to a dynamic individual with prior assistant manager or managerial experience in a firm environment, who is passionate about client service, people development, and delivering high-quality work in accounting, tax, and secretarial functions.

Main Purpose of the Role :

As a manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading a team, overseeing the delivery of accounting, tax, and secretarial services, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will support directors, drive internal team efficiency, and ensure work is delivered accurately and on time.

Key Performance Areas :

• Collaborate closely with directors on strategic planning and execution
• Oversee and manage the delivery of accounting, tax, and secretarial services
• Supervise and develop team members, ensuring quality and compliance
• Contribute to staff training and skills development initiatives
• Identify risk areas and contribute to process improvement and value-add advice
