Labeller Operator

We are currently seeking a Labeller Operator to join our team in Queenstown.In this role, the Labeller Operator will ensure that machine settings and operations are correct, or adjusted, to produce perfectly labeled containers in line with product specifications, while also managing waste streams and machine availability.Position SummaryAs a Labeller Operator, your main responsibilities will include : Operating the labeller and ensuring the right labels are applied to the product.Ensuring label height, overlap, and straightness meet specifications.Ensuring the date coder is functioning properly and printing clearly (check every 15 minutes).Organizing with the Team Leader to ensure enough labels are available.Reporting any label issues to the Team Leader immediately.Keeping the labeller and area clean, including regular cleaning during machine downtime.Performing maintenance on the labeller as instructed by the maintenance manager.Inspecting the conveyors and bottles for defects, such as pearlescence, solid base, and proper label application.Performing size changes and making necessary adjustments for different bottle sizes.Managing waste and maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy work environmentpleting QMS documentation and following safety procedures.Minimum RequirementsEducation : Grade 12Experience : 1 year of experience working with labelling equipment.1 year of experience in the beverage industry.Skills : Good technical skills and understanding of machine operations.Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the labeller.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about working in the beverage industry and have the experience required to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply by 10 March .Twizza is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is an equal-opportunity employer.
