As the Technical Analyst : Connectivity, you'll assist in integrating and onboarding the cash visibility module for new clients, while ensuring all data connections for Payments, FX Rates, FX Trades, Interest Rates, and other treasury activities are implemented.
This role involves coordinating with clients, banks, and internal teams to ensure accurate, secure, and consistent data transmission via channels like SFTP, SWIFT, and API.
Your technical expertise, project coordination, and strong communication skills will be key to your success.

- Connectivity Setup
- Assist clients in establishing connectivity with banks, third parties, and the TMS system for automated data exchange, ensuring all bank accounts are correctly integrated.
- Manage various data transmission mechanisms (SFTP, SWIFT, API) and collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical readiness, aligning with project scope and timelines.
- Project Coordination and Tracking
- Track tasks and project updates in Smartsheet, ensuring accuracy and clarity, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in meetings to report progress and next steps.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the key contact between clients, banks, and internal stakeholders, proactively addressing issues, escalating risks, and contributing to process improvements for better client experience.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Ensure proper documentation storage on the shared drive, provide project status for billing, assist with monthly reporting, and contribute to ad-hoc connectivity projects.
- Treasury and Implementation Processes
- Maintain a broad understanding of Treasury processes (Cash Management, FX, Payments, Liquidity) and how they interact with system connectivity
- Process Enhancements and Compliance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve onboarding and connectivity, and adhere to the company's policies and compliance procedures (POPIA, etc.).
Education
A Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)At least 2 years of experience in technical integration, banking connectivity or treasury environmentExperience working with Treasury Management Systems, financial institutions or payment platforms will be advantageousFamiliarity with data security and compliance frameworks (e.g. POPIA, etc.)Exposure to XML, CVS, SWIFT or similar file formats will be beneficialWork Environment
