Now's the time to imagine your potential in a team where experts come together and ignite effective change.ResponsibilitiesWindows Server AdministrationStrong knowledge of Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.Expertise in Active Directory (AD) management, including user / group management, Group Policy (GPO), domain controllers, DNS, and replication.Proficiency in using PowerShell for automation, system management, and administrative tasks.Knowledge of configuring and managing file servers, network shares, NTFS permissions, and print services.Understanding of security best practices.Azure AdministrationDeep knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.Understanding of AAD for identity and access management.Proficiency in configuring and managing virtual networks.Ability to use Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.Experience with Azure monitoring tools.MS SQL Server AdministrationExpertise in installing and configuring various versions of SQL Server.Strong knowledge of SQL Server backup and recovery strategies.Experience with database performance optimization.Knowledge of SQL Server replication and high availability strategies.Experience in designing and managing ETL workflows with SSIS.Database Design & ArchitectureUnderstanding of relational database design.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.Experience in data migration strategies.Disaster Recovery & High AvailabilityDesigning and implementing disaster recovery plans.Knowledge of Windows Server Failover Clustering.Automation & ScriptingProficiency in using PowerShell for automating administrative tasks.Ability to write T-SQL scripts.Security & ComplianceUnderstanding of SQL Server security best practices.Knowledge of database encryption methods.Monitoring & TroubleshootingExperience using SQL Server Profiler.Proficiency in using tools for diagnosing issues.QualificationsYou will be an ideal candidate if you : Minimum Qualification - Relevant bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, Information Systems or related field.Preferred Qualification - Control M / O / R certification.Experience - 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar environment.BenefitsYou will have access to : Opportunities to network and collaborate.Challenging working environment.Opportunities to innovate.We can be a match if you are : Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn more.Obsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do.All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group's Employment Equity plan.
