SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :

CTU Training Solutions is at the forefront of Private Higher Education in South Africa since 1987 and we are rapidly growing our qualifications offerings with our Blended Learning Methodology including Virtual Lecturer-led Interactive Teaching solutions and Distance Learning modes. We have a vacancy for a Faculty Head in out Information Technology Faculty.

Job Summary :

A Faculty Head is accountable for their key performance areas (KPAs) and the execution thereof in all segments of professional academic leadership and management in the Information Technology Faculty to secure innovative and high-quality teaching and learning, effective use of resources and improved standards of education and achievement for all stakeholders.

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies :

Qualifications :

The minimum qualification requirement is a Master’s degree in a relevant Information Technology field within the faculty and a PhD degree is a recommendation.

Experience :

Minimum of four years of relevant work experience at an Academic institution.

Experience working with learning management system (LMS) platforms is preferred;

Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office 365.

Relevant research and publications issued.

Demonstrated experience managing projects and teams and working cross-functionally with other technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to deal with several activities at a time.

Proficient in MS Office.

Proficiency in programming statistical software.

Knowledge of research ethics.

Ability to lead, take charge of situations and offer opinions and directions to others.

Ability to negotiate, sell, influence and to persuade other

Remuneration Package : Will be negotiated
