Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and organized SAP PMO Lead to oversee the governance, planning, and execution of SAP projects within a banking environment. This role is critical for ensuring delivery excellence, managing risks, and aligning SAP initiatives with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP program management experience, deep understanding of banking operations, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.
"Establish and manage the SAP PMO framework, including governance, reporting, and delivery standards.
Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP projects across modules (e.g., S / 4HANA, FI, MM, SD, RE-FX, Ariba).
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Track project budgets, timelines, risks, and resource allocations.
Ensure alignment of SAP initiatives with banking regulatory requirements and strategic goals.
Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Implement project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
Support change management, training, and post-implementation reviews."
Requirements
"Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP project / program management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale SAP implementations in banking or financial services.
Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP Solution Manager).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong financial acumen and risk management capabilities."

Experience with SAP S / 4HANA transformation programs.
Familiarity with South African banking regulations and IT governance frameworks.
Exposure to Agile and hybrid delivery models."
