Grade 2 English Tutor – In-Person, Mthatha

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 2 CAPS student in English. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students' needs.

• In-person tutoring (house calls)
• Tuesdays, 16 : 00 - 17 : 00
• Starts on 18 February

Responsibilities :

• Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 2 CAPS student in English
• Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student's understanding and grades
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
• Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates

Requirements :

• Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in English or related field
• Strong knowledge of Grade 2 CAPS English curriculum and assessment standards
• Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 2 CAPS students in English
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students' needs
