Key Responsibilities :
- Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank reconciliations, cashbook entries, and journal postings
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assisting with SARS queries
- Supporting month-end processes and assisting with management accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
- Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
Job Experience & Skills Required :
Matric essential; a Bookkeeping or Accounting Diploma advantageousMinimum 5 years experience in a similar roleExperience within the logistics, transport, or distribution sector preferredStrong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and VATProficient in accounting systems such as Pastel, Sage, or QuickBooksStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesImmediate availability is essentialApply now!
