Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire an Industrial Relations and Human Resources Officer based at the client in Bellville.
Industrial Relations (IR) :
- Act as the primary point of contact for industrial relations matters.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution between employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and company policies.
- Maintain positive relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
- Represent the company in labor disputes, negotiations, and legal proceedings if required.
Human Resources (HR) Management :
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.Facilitate performance management and employee engagement initiatives.Oversee training and development programs to upskill employees.Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.Compliance & Reporting :
Ensure adherence to employment legislation, industry standards, and company policies.Maintain accurate records of industrial relations matters, grievances, and HR documentation.Provide reports and recommendations on workforce trends, labor relations, and policy changes.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and Industrial Relations.
