Purpose of Job
Manage all relevant utility and effluent supply / return contracts from Sasolburg Operations to 3rd parties, including landlord services. Key interface between Sasolburg Operations and Sasol Mining in terms of coal supply contracts and management thereof. Partake in strategic initiatives related to coal supply and future requirements. Translate once-off complex procurement requirements into contract terms and conditions to realise the identified benefits. To lead and execute all aspects related to the establishment and management of contracts for a portfolio of contracts in the complex contracting category, including contract negotiations. To ensure that existing contracts remain valid with respect to changes in Sasol's internal and external environment. To pre-empt / identify, evaluate and advise on and manage all potential contractual problems, issues and risks within the applicable contracting portfolio. To embed contracts and monitor performance to ensure benefits realisation.
Key Accountabilities
Formal Education
Relevant B.Degree in Engineering or Commerce or equivalent. MBA or Commercial Law qualification is a wish.
Work Experience
At least eight (8) years experience in an Operations environment dealing with interfaces between parties.
