About the Role : We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience across multiple companies, excellent organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of VAT, Xero, and Excel. You'll play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth month-end procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain the general ledger and process all financial transactions accurately on Xero
- Process supplier invoices, perform payment runs, and reconcile accounts payable
- Raise customer invoices, manage receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Oversee and review debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile intercompany loan accounts
- Prepare and post standard and payroll journals
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Review trial balances for correct allocations
- Ensure all monthly deadlines are met for month-end cut-off
- Prepare management reports as required
- Perform general office and ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements :
Certification in Bookkeeping (or equivalent qualification)Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably managing multiple companies)Strong understanding of VATProficiency in Xero and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhy Join Us :
