The Emily Hobhouse Museum to be opened in St Ive, near Liskeard, Cornwall (UK), has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager. The role includes overseeing visitor attraction, the museum experience, kitchen garden and restaurant.
Requirements
- A qualification in hospitality management or business management
- Relevant experience in hotel management, restaurant management or visitor attraction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
- Ability to manage a team
- Some experience of financial management
- Enthusiasm and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Interest in South African history will be to your advantage
