Position Overview :

  • We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Desktop-Based Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth through meticulous desktop research and proactive customer cold calling.
  • This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sales, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to launch their careers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive desktop research to identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate database of prospective clients.
  • Initiate outbound cold calls to potential customers to introduce products / services, identify needs, and generate sales leads.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent follow-ups and relationship nurturing.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored pitches and sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations via phone and email communication.
  • Track all sales activities in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date records of interactions and outcomes.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.

    • Key Focus Areas :

  • Identifying new business opportunities through detailed online research and data analysis.
  • Engaging with potential clients via phone calls, establishing rapport, and converting leads into sales.

    • Requirements :

  • Strong customer-centric approach with a genuine passion for helping clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and customer communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using desktop applications, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Resilience and persistence, with the ability to handle rejection positively.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards achieving targets.

    • Qualifications :

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.  (Minimum requirement)
  • A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is a plus, though not required.
