To ensure the successful delivery of this and future projects, we seek a Construction Project Manager with a robust skill set in drawing coordination and bidding processes . This role offers an opportunity to be part of a growing team with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities
Drawing Coordination
Proficient in interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
Overlay architectural and structural drawings to ensure alignment and detect potential clashes, especially involving MEP systems.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
Extract precise measurements from drawings and provide accurate data as needed.
Bidding Support
Conduct detailed takeoffs for various project components (e.g., bathtubs, doors) and compile them into organized formats.
Utilize Excel to create clear, visually appealing sheets for takeoffs and documentation.
Compare multiple vendor proposals (e.g., plumbing, HVAC) and prepare bid leveling sheets to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Additional Duties
Requirements and Preferences
Experience :
US-based construction experience is preferred.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a strong plus.
Language Skills :
Native-level English proficiency with excellent communication skills.
Tools and Technology :
Advanced Excel skills for takeoff sheets and documentation.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates from South Africa or Latin America , particularly those with prior US construction experience. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, skilled in coordination and communication, and eager to contribute to high-profile projects.
