Job Overview

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Chef to join a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger area. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests. This is a live-in position with meals provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Head Chef with daily meal preparation and cooking
• Ensuring all dishes meet the lodge’s quality and presentation standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Managing kitchen stock and assisting with ordering supplies
• Supporting kitchen staff and maintaining smooth kitchen operations
• Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards
