Senior Site Agent (Civil Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Site Agent to take full operational control of major civil packages.

The Role

As the Senior Site Agent, you will be the single point of accountability for all on-site operations within your assigned package. This is a senior, autonomous role where your decisions will directly impact project quality, safety, budget, and program adherence. You will report directly to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Roads and Earthworks : Oversee the entire road construction process, including layer works, compaction testing, and final surfacing, ensuring compliance with specified engineering standards.
• Stormwater & Drainage : Manage the installation of comprehensive stormwater management systems, including piping, catch basins, attenuation ponds, and headwalls.
• Sewer Reticulation : Supervise the installation of gravity and pressure sewer mains, ensuring correct gradients, deep-trench shoring, and manhole construction.
• Water Reticulation : Direct the installation and testing of potable water mains and service connections, including valving, hydrants, and pressure testing in accordance with municipal standards.
• Safety and Quality Control (HSE / QC) : Implement and enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, and establish strict Quality Control (QC) checks for all works, ensuring zero re-work culture.
• Programme Management : Develop, monitor, and adjust the detailed site programme to ensure key milestones are met on time and within the allocated budget.
• Team and Subcontractor Management : Lead, mentor, and manage site engineers, foremen, and specialist utility subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality output.
