Are you a talented litigator with 3–5 years’ PQE and a passion for high-stakes disputes? We’re assisting a top-tier firm in Johannesburg to find a Mid-Level Associate to join a leading team handling complex matters across the Construction, Mining, Financial Services, and Restructuring sectors.

The Opportunity

In this dynamic role, you’ll advise top-tier clients on a broad spectrum of contentious issues, including civil litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations. You’ll be involved in multi-jurisdictional disputes covering transactional conflicts, public law challenges, and enforcement proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sophisticated litigation and arbitration cases.
• Provide strategic advice on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Handle cross-border investigations and enforcement actions across Africa and beyond.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various sectors.

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for candidates currently in South Africa with another leading firm, returning from overseas or those with experience at international firms in the UK, Europe, Asia, or Australia . Your global perspective and expertise will be highly valued.
