Key Responsibilities

Focused on Southern Hemisphere but Globally Aligned Processes :

Data Analysis and Reporting :

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret reward data (e.g., salaries, bonuses, benefits utilisation) in partnership with the Reward Manager.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate reward program effectiveness and trends.
  • Identify and analyse market data to benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards.

Market Research and Benchmarking :

  • Conduct research to stay updated on compensation and benefits trends in relevant markets.
  • Analyse competitor reward programs and identify best practices.
  • Support in external data provider discussions and relationship building.
  • Reward Program Administration :

  • Assist with the administration of existing reward programs (e.g., bonus calculations).
  • Support in the creation of reward program communications.
  • Support the development and implementation of new reward programs.
  • Compliance :

  • Stay informed of relevant reward and benefits legislation and regulations in different Southern hemisphere countries.
  • Ensure reward programs comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
  • Personal Specification

    Technical & Soft Skills

  • Relevant HR Degree / Qualification
  • Able to travel globally
  • Demonstrable experience in reward and compensation analysis, ideally within the regions the Organisation operates in, or with a keen interest in these areas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with knowledge of reward cycles and principles within a large, global organisation.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, including complex calculations, pivot tables, and other techniques to manage and analyse data.
  • Understanding of data privacy and GDPR requirements when handling large, sensitive, and complex data sets.
  • Experience or interest in developing other reporting and analysis skills such as PowerBI and VBA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
