This role is focused on achieving sales targets, managing key customer accounts, and identifying growth opportunities in the Cape Town market.As a Sales Representatives your main responsibility is to :
Main Duties / Key Accountabilities
- Identifying new market opportunities by selling and integrating a range of solutions to / for new clients and current clients
- New Business Development
- Customer Relationship Management - manage expectations and oversee that a client's needs are met in a timely fashion
- Responsible for individual sales targets – sales order and billing
- Manage sales performance, pipeline development and forecasting
- New business development
- Articulating and selling of defined solution / product sets to new customers.
- Develop new client relationships and assist in growing the market share.
- Develop and manage client account plans
- Ability to analyses complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide solutions
- Ownership and resolution of sales related issues
- Act as the single point of contact for customers internally and externally.
- Remain up-to-date with product knowledge and trends in Flooring industry and general business.
- Develop and grow long-term client relationships to increase market share.
- Create and manage client account plans with clear growth objectives.
- Analyse client needs and market data to provide tailored solutions.
- Own and resolve sales-related issues to ensure excellent customer service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client communication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ranges, sustainability trends, and developments in the flooring industry.
- Ensure administration, reporting, and CRM tools are used effectively.
- Represent the company at trade shows, CPD events, and networking functions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum 3–5 years sales experience.Experience in flooring, construction, or building materials industry (preferred).Target-driven with a proven track record of meeting sales goals and growing market share.Strong negotiating skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.Demonstrated ability to foster, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for market growth.Competent in using CRM tools and digital sales platforms.Ability to prepare professional proposals and deliver effective presentations.Strong organisational and planning skills for managing complex sales cycles.Analytical thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Please click on the email link below to submit your covering email and CV to Ingrid Ndlala for consideration.#J-18808-Ljbffr
