Overview

Explore Scrum Master opportunities across industries. Scrum Masters facilitate scrum events, remove impediments, coach development teams, and promote agile practices to drive successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Be the servant leader and Agile coach for a high-performing, self-organising team.
  • Facilitate all key Scrum ceremonies and foster a culture of delivery, quality, and ownership.
  • Partner with Project and Programme Managers to align team efforts with broader delivery goals.
  • Shield the team from distractions and scope creep to maintain focus and flow.
  • Identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed to sustain momentum.
  • Support the Product Owner in prioritisation and backlog refinement.
  • Ensure backlog is well-groomed and ready for sprint planning; help manage dependencies and risks.
  • Promote collaboration across teams and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
  • Provide timely status updates and contribute to transparency of delivery progress.

What You Bring

  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Agile values, and Lean thinking; ability to apply practices pragmatically.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills; conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile delivery tools.
  • Solid software development and DevOps awareness is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are beneficial.
  • Experience in delivering projects in agile environments; ability to work across multiple teams or domains.
  • Educational background in IT, Computer Science, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.

    • Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years (or more) of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments.
  • Proven ability to guide teams through Scrum events, manage backlogs, and improve delivery flow.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Scrum / Kanban frameworks and related metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time).
