Minimum Requirements
A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Management (Logistics) will serve as an added advantage.The disclosure of a valid, unexpired driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.Computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Exchange).Basic knowledge of financial operating systems (SAP).Understanding of the legislative framework governing the public service and supply chain processes.Knowledge of administrative procedures and working systems in a government or similar environment.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and attention to detail.Demonstrated ethical conduct, accountability, and client orientation.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide logistics and inventory management support in compliance with Supply Chain Management (SCM) prescripts.Render demand and acquisition clerical support and assist with procurement-related documentation.Offer logistical support services to ensure effective coordination of SCM functions.Administer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Oversee the goods receipt process, including verification of goods and services received from suppliers.Capture goods and service receipt vouchers and issue receivables to responsible components.Conduct stocktaking and maintain accurate inventory records.Manage the receiving and issuing of stock from the warehouse.Administer and update the 0–9 file and expedite open purchase orders.Monitor and report on open purchase orders (commitments) and compile commitment disclosures.Perform any other administrative duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.Note
