Flash / 03 / 19 Western CapeJob Reference Number : FH-Department : FinanceIndustry : FintechJob Type : PermanentPositions Available : 1Salary : Market RelatedWe are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance Team to maintain, capture and analyse virtual revenue streams and their related cost of sales.Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES : Liaise with suppliers and customers to receive, reconcile, and capture invoicesSet up remittances for paying creditorsManage day-to-day queries from customers and suppliersLiaise with customers to send invoices and statements and follow up on paymentManagement of multiple creditor and debtor accounts to keep them up to dateWork with large volumes of data in Excel for reconciliations and processingProcessing of month-end virtual stock revenue, expenses and balance sheet accountsPerforming commission calculations for month-end processingPerforming balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure accurate presentation in the management accounts of virtual stock productsLiaise with the Tech and Product departments to troubleshoot problems and streamline processesAssisting on ad hoc projects and investigations from managerAssist in basic financial reporting and analysisAssist with cashflows, forecast and budgeting processes.Report financial insights to departmental leadership.Job RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Formal training in accounting3 - 5 years' experience in debtors, creditors and reconciliationAdvanced ExcelREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS : Exposure to financial reporting and analysisKnowledge of SAGE (preferable)Knowledge of accounting principlesCOMPETENCIES / ATTRIBUTES : Attention to detail in financial tasksMust be able to work under pressureBe able to self-manageDeadline / goal drivenGood communication skillsAbility to adapt to changeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTeam collaborator
