As a Shift Instrument Mechanician, you will be responsible for :
Conducting fault finding, breakdown assessments, and thinking beyond the fix.Executing breakdown and planned maintenance tasks in line with schedules and engineering practices.Reporting plant defects, downtime, and abnormalities accurately.Planning spares, tools, and resources required for maintenance jobs.Performing basic welding, cutting, fitting, and rigging where required.Supporting safety processes by conducting risk assessments and following isolation procedures.Ensuring correct tool selection and job preparation for quality execution.Sharing knowledge across teams and coaching peers on plant-specific systems.What are we looking for?
Matric with Maths and Physical Science or N3 Engineering StudiesRecognised Trade Test Certificate as an Instrument MechanicianMinimum 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in an industrial environment (instrumentation focus advantageous)SAP PM experience or knowledge is advantageousValid Driver’s LicenseEngineering / Technical jobs
