Our client, an auditing, accounting and advisory firm based in Cape Town, has the abovementioned position available for a dynamic, client-oriented individual with strong administration, organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Payroll : Capture monthly payrolls for various clients; Submit payrolls by relevant due dates; Manage various statutory submission requirements and queries with SARS / Dept of Labour (IRP5's, EMP501's, EMP201's, WCA, U-filing); Monthly billing fees and WIP write-off.
- Monthly Accounting Services : Processing of client data in Xero and managing DEXT; Processing Debtors and or Sales invoices; Processing Creditors; Processing and reconcile banking; Processing payroll journals and salary control reconciliation; Processing Fixed Assets register (on Xero or Excel) and all other journals; VAT output and balance reconciliation; Completing VAT 201's and following up on payments due to SARS; Management report to clients.
- Attend to client queries / Emails and maintain a good working relationship with clients
- All other functions associated with this position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
A tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field;Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper;Strong computer proficiency (MS Office, Xero will be beneficial);Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans);Superb attention to detail.Please apply online at before 09 : 00 on 5 November 2025.
