Job description

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates activities in the Packing department.
  • Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
  • Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
  • Coordinates production activities with procurement, planning, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Consults with technical / engineering personnel relative to modification of machines or processes and equipment to improve production and quality of products.
  • This is to be done within the Frame of QA compliance and operating within high standards of cGMP, HSE environmental protection, and good working practices.

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree or Diploma with 8 to 10 years of related experience in the Cosmetic, FMCG, or related field.
  • Conversant with OSH Act / Labour Laws / ISO Quality Systems.
  • IT and numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of systems and processes in a cGMP packaging environment
  • Good technical skills
  • Good analytical skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Proficient in root cause analysis, with attention to detail
  • Organization and efficiency, Leadership, and interpersonal skill
  • Confidence, Project management skills, Communication skills, Teamworking skills, IR knowledge.
