Operational Finance Controller – Middle Management

Location : Johannesburg East, Gauteng

Type : Permanent

Salary : R1 000 000 – R1 200 000 per annum

Are you a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to operational finance? We’re looking for a dynamic Operational Finance Controller to lead financial operations in a multi‑entity, high‑volume transaction environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong intercompany and foreign currency experience, particularly within the SADC region , and a deep understanding of South African tax and VAT in complex industries.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage financial operations across multiple entities and regions
• Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and reporting
• Manage foreign currency transactions, especially within Africa (SADC)
• Ensure compliance with SA tax legislation and VAT, particularly in product‑ and project‑based environments
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX planning
• Collaborate with operational teams to enhance financial performance
• Support audits and ensure financial controls are in place
