A well-established resort in Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to take charge of daily operations, lead the team, and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery at all times.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with relevant hospitality experience.
- Hospitality Diploma (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage within Resorts, Hotels, or Lodges.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership qualities with a hands-on approach.
- In-depth product knowledge with exceptional Food & Beverage and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily distribution of duties within the restaurant team.Maintain and uphold exceptional service standards.Coordinate with Front Office regarding guest arrivals, departures, and in-house requirements.Liaise with the Banqueting Department for groups, functions, and conferences.Effectively manage all restaurant operations and staff.Handle stock control and conduct regular stock counts.Train, mentor, and develop restaurant staff.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.Conduct monthly departmental meetings and attend management meetings.Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the General Manager.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
