Calling all retired and unemployed teachers to apply for part-time positions as WIL (Work-Integrated Learning) assessors.
A multi-school assessor is a qualified educator who travels between schools to assess student teachers placed across different sites.
You must have your own reliable transport (use of public transport is not permitted).
Suitable for retired, self-employed, or unemployed educators who are flexible and willing to travel between schools in their province.
Minimum Requirements
Based on the SANTS Academic Part-Time Staff Candidacy Criteria (August 2025) :
Qualification : Any recognised teaching qualification relevant to the desired phase (ECD, Foundation Phase, or Intermediate Phase).
Experience : Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience (extensive experience preferred).
Higher Education Experience : Minimum 2 years of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) experience preferred.
SACE Registration : Preferred.
Digital Competency : Must be able to communicate online and submit assessment rubrics and portfolios electronically.
Additional : Retired or current school principals / deputy principals / Head of Departments and qualified educators with sufficient teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
