- Ensure timeous and continuous communication on progress and challenges to all impacted stakeholders with regard to SDLC activities during a release cycle.
- Single point of contact with relevant technology and resourcing vendors. Co-ordination of communication, meetings, documentation and invoicing between vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the full Systems Development Life Cycle for all changes across the supported channels / systems as well as continuous environment coordination and the preparation and maintenance of the annual releases and cloning strategy.
- Plan and manage the work scheduling process through team leads, ensuring effective utilization of internal and external resources in order to deliver prioritized tasks and monitor effectiveness.
- Preparation for and management of daily scrum and change advisory board sessions. Ensure stakeholder participation in order to meet release cut off dates. Active assistance with impediment removal.
- Implement and coordinate delivery plans through the development of operational activities to ensure implementation objectives are met as per the project plan.
- Identify the best process and communicate meaningful context that guides and directs best practice integration and alignment to effectively manage the release.
- Use insights gained through reports to measure success and realign to implementation objectives.
- Ensure adherence to relevant processes and procedures.
- Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
- Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared.
- Positively influence and manage change by providing mechanisms and support to implement major changes in area of accountability.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in facilitating all changes within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes and minimizing risk to production environments.Strong capability in managing configuration changes in ServiceNow, including CMDB updates, impact analysis, and governance of configuration items (CIs).Demonstrated experience in coordinating monthly release activities across multiple applications, ensuring timely deployments, stakeholder communication, and post-release validation.Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in managing changes and releases within DevOps pipelines (CI / CD), including integration with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and automated deployment strategies.5 years’ experience in a management roleYou will be an ideal candidate if you :
