The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing business development team responsible for building and nurturing strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting clients with innovative reinsurance and capital management solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and partners.
- Work with internal teams to design and price reinsurance solutions that meet profitability and capital efficiency targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to support business growth.
- Monitor and manage client portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Draft and manage treaty documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with international teams to stay informed of emerging trends in insurance, technology, and risk management.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Job Experience and Skills Required :
Nearly or fully qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent)Minimum 5 years experience in a life insurance or reinsurance environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word; intermediate in PowerPoint and OutlookDemonstrated ability to manage relationships and work across teamsProactive and commercially mindedConfident communicator with presentation experience.Apply now!
