Job descriptionMinimum 5+ years in industrial project engineering or related sectors Proven experience managing project execution and engineering teams Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams Hands-on knowledge of all project lifecycle stages, including procurement, design, and construction B-Tech or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (essential) Category C Designer certification (essential) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Projects Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of assigned projects from planning to completion
- Break down projects into manageable work packages
- Review and approve design documentation before construction
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Liaise with clients and consultants to maintain alignment and satisfaction
- Manage and mentor project managers and technical staff
- Continuously improve systems and processes for efficient project delivery
- Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation
- Act as a technical representative in client meetings
