AI Architect / Product Manager (Mid-Level)

Job descriptionMinimum of 3 years’ experience in an AI Architect, Product Manager, or related role. Proven experience in AI model development, data-driven decision-making, and product lifecycle management. Experience with machine learning frameworks, cloud-based AI tools, and agile development environments. Technical Competencies : Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI). Proficiency with Python, R, or similar languages used in AI modeling. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. NQF Level 6 or higher tertiary qualification in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science). Cloud certification (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred. Strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and emerging technologies. Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable business insights.

We’re seeking a Mid-Level AI Architect / Product Manager to play a key role in developing, managing, and optimizing AI-driven products and solutions. You will collaborate across teams to deliver impactful, scalable AI initiatives that align with business goals and customer needs.
What you’ll do :
- Develop and implement AI models and intelligent automation solutions to meet business requirements.
- Manage specific AI product features, including planning, prioritization, and coordination with development and engineering teams.
- Monitor AI system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Support Senior AI Architects and data teams with research, data analysis, and proof-of-concept development.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with overall architecture principles.
- Stay current with AI trends, cloud technologies, and data science methodologies to guide strategic product direction.
Your expertise :
Understanding of AI / ML principles, data pipelines, and model deployment.
