Our client is seeking a high-impact professional to manage and grow high-revenue commercial portfolios in the northern region, focusing on sustainable value creation and strategic cross-selling across the broader financial group. Responsibilities :
- Acquire new commercial clients with annual turnover between R30 million and R1 billion through prospecting and networking to achieve market share growth.
- Be a trusted advisor to commercial clients in specialised industries (Agri, Franchise, Fintech, Manufacturing), staying current with economic trends like green energy and sustainable agriculture.
- Perform in-depth financial needs analysis and recommend tailor-made solutions to meet client needs.
- Prepare and present large and complex credit applications and partner with the credit manager to manage credit risk and minimise potential impairment.
- Proactively identify and generate revenue through cross-sell strategies for Commercial Banking and the broader Group.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to support the digitisation of clients in line with the 4th Industrial Revolution dynamics.
Experience :
A total of 4-5 years of experience in Relationship Management within the financial sector is required.2-3 years of experience in Business Acquisition is essential.5-7 years of experience in Agriculture is highly advantageous.Qualifications :
Advanced Diplomas / National 1st Degrees.Must have completed a BCom / BSc Agric. CA / CFA or MBA would be an advantage.Valid unendorsed driver's license and own reliable transport.Expertise in Governance, Risk and Controls, Negotiation skills, and Data Analysis and Interpretation.Strong in Sales Negotiation, Business Acumen, and Building Trusting Relationships.
