The National Commercial Manager is responsible for leading and executing Aramex South Africa’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention across all service verticals. The role ensures alignment between sales, key account management, marketing, and operations to deliver sustainable business growth and a superior customer experience.

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the national commercial strategy in alignment with Aramex’s regional and global goals.
- Ensure national commercial strategy is aligned to the global commercial strategy as well as the National Overall Strategy.
- Identify new market opportunities, channels, and sectors to expand revenue streams.
- Lead annual sales planning, forecasting, and performance review processes.
- Collaborate with operations and finance to ensure pricing, profitability, and capacity alignment.
Sales & Business Development
Oversee all sales and account management teams across regions.Achieve national revenue targets through structured pipeline management and performance tracking.Drive strategic customer acquisition, particularly in high-growth sectors.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and strategic partners.Negotiate major contracts and commercial agreements in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and teams.Customer Retention & Experience
Champion a customer-centric culture and retention strategy.Partner with customer service and operations to improve service quality and client satisfaction.Ensure consistent delivery of Aramex’s value proposition across all client touchpoints.People Management
Lead, coach, and develop the commercial leadership team.Set clear KPIs, review performance, and build capability through mentoring and training.Foster a high-performance and collaborative commercial culture.Financial & Analytical Management
Manage national commercial budgets as applicable and ensure profitability targets are met.Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to guide decision-making.Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Finance, HR, and Marketing to support business initiatives.Collaborate with regional and global commercial teams on pricing, innovation, and strategy alignment.Key Performance Indicators :
