Head Chef / Sous Chef Luxury Safari Lodge North West
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef or Sous Chef to join a luxury safari lodge in the North West. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences in a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food preparation.
- Plan prepare and present menus in line with lodge standards and guest expectations.
- Maintain consistent quality presentation and portion control for all dishes served.
- Ensure adherence to health safety and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen inventory stock control and supplier relationships.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Collaborate with lodge management to maintain operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Innovate and develop new menu items that reflect the lodges luxury positioning and seasonal availability.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a luxury lodge hotel or high-end restaurant.Strong leadership organisational and team management skills.Exceptional culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation.Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.Salary
R12000 R28000 per month negotiable depending on experience.
