Introduction
We are looking to recruit an Application Portfolio Manager (BI and Integration) to form part of the IT Data Management & Enterprise Architect Team in the Group IT department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the IT Data Mgnt & Enterprise Architect Exec.
Job Purpose :
The purpose of the job is to ensure that business strategy is enabled, shaped and supported through the delivery of robust, cost-conscious, and architecturally sound IT solutions for Data Management & Analytics, and Integration.
Job Objectives
- Ensure and drive alignment and delivery of IT enablement of Business strategy
- Pro-actively manage key business stakeholders
- Manage financials within budget (Opex and Capex)
- Accountable for the accuracy of cradle-to-grave data flows for all processes, with a focus on enabling a data-driven business
- Create a conducive delivery environment for a high-performing team.
- Accountable for capacity management in application area
- Manage SLA performance of software vendors and 3rd party service providers to ensure commitments to the business are met
- Ensure service and support SLAs are met for lines of business
- Stay abreast of relevant application systems and technologies, and collaborate with other Application Portfolio Managers, Data Architects, Technical team leads, and Enterprise Architecture to influence business thinking regarding potential solutions and benefits.
Qualifications and Experience :
BSc in Information Technology or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent years of experienceData Science and / or AI / ML certifications (Desirable)5-10 years IT management experienceAt least 2 years retail experienceExperience with IT systems and solutionsExtensive experience dealing with 3rd party servicesBusiness Intelligence experienceSOA experiencePolicy and procedure development; negotiation and prioritization skillsSkills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge :
