Report and investigate all accidents and incidents promptly.Complete investigation reports and verify corrective actions.Advising management on health and safety :
Identify hazards and risks; advise on mitigation strategies.Risk assessments :
Develop and communicate risk assessments and method statements.Review and improve ongoing risk assessments.Planned Task Observation (PTO) :
Coach and assist supervisors in completing quality PTOs.Monitor and report on PTO findings.Training of Employees :
Ensure employees are properly trained and authorized.Address training gaps proactively.Meetings and discipline :
Attend scheduled safety meetings.Report and manage safety-related discipline issues.Team unity and safety culture :
Promote a safety culture through leadership and team engagement.Safety statistics and administration :
Compile and report safety statistics regularly.Maintain safety documentation and records.Communication and general administration :
Liaise with workforce and stakeholders.Complete and manage safety documentation and reports.Qualifications and experience :
Grade 12; additional safety certifications (e.g., COMSOC, SAMTRAC, or equivalent).Relevant experience in SHE management, preferably in mining and engineering environments.Driver’s license with at least 4 years’ experience.Knowledge of ISO standards and legal requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
