May 27, 2024 / / in / by Position : Service Provider Practice Consultant Ref : SPPCP / BM / LM Salary : Market related Location : Pretoria Medical scheme based in Pretoria seeks to employ a suitably qualified candidate in support to the healthcare providers on the network, expand the network and promote the scheme. Key responsibilities :

• Proactive Management for short paid claims and Overcharged Claims.
• Increase referrals to top-ranked specialists.
• Quarterly Q & A sessions for staff from the relevant departments.
• Specialists Contracting and Research Management.
• Support Managers and team Leaders in tasks.
• Quality Assurance.
Key requirements :
• Grade 12
• Medical (e.g. Nursing) or business related degree
• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in health related / medical scheme environment
• Minimum of 3 years experience in interacting with Specialists by applying clinical knowledge or experience to medical aid related queries.
• The ability to travel to Cape Town when required by management.
