Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for a heavy duty documentation from dispatch to the customer and back to the distribution Centre. Prepared to work shifts weekends and public holidaysPerform vehicle inspection before and after the for all the goods that are being transported to the customerPrepare vehicle for trip and operate heavy duty vehiclesAll other reasonable instructions from SupervisorPrepared to work shifts weekends and public holidaysSafe driving record and clean criminal record

Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 Literacy levelMust be in a possession of Code 14 drivers license. Valid PrDP (EC1)Must have 5 years articulated driving experience in Bulk Chemical Transport driving both semi trailer and double combination (semi pub) Long distance and cross border experienceMedically fitClean criminal recordDefensive drivingEaton Fuller gearbox and ZF gearbox drivingFunction and location of vehicle componentsRoad Traffic Act (i.e. operating a vehicle)Driver actions regarding to weather / road / traffic conditionsReporting procedure of emergencies and defectsVehicle inspections and operating a fire extinguisherMaximizing vehicle costeffectiveness and efficiencyVehicle loading techniques
