A dynamic organisation in Durban is looking for an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of its IT operations, lead a small technical team, and ensure systems, networks, and platforms perform optimally.

This role requires a hands‑on professional with strong leadership ability, a strategic mindset, and deep technical expertise – someone who can manage day‑to‑day operations while also shaping the company’s long‑term IT direction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage
• Manage enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, trading platforms) and user access
• Ensure system performance, uptime, and data integrity
• Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (SOC, ISO 27001)
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and respond to security incidents
• Lead IT initiatives and technology upgrades from planning through execution
• Align IT strategy with business goals and drive innovation
• Manage vendors, contracts, and service providers
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT support team
