Calling all seasoned Vehicle Sales Executives! Our client, a leading and well-respected franchise dealership is on the hunt for TOP TALENT to join their sales team!
As a Sales Executive, your role will be to plan, implement, and manage all sales and promotional initiatives for the vehicle brand. You will be responsible for achieving or surpassing vehicle sales targets while ensuring customers expectations are met. The focus is on driving customer sales, ensuring profitability and maintaining strong relationships with customers for future retention.
Remuneration
Market related plus performance-based Incentive – Benefits including Provident Fund, Medical Aid contributions, Company Vehicle and Fuel Allowance
Duties
- Sell the maximum number of new cars and used cars
- Manage client relationships through effective use of the lead and data management system (CMS).
- Contribute to the planning and execution of sales strategies that drive dealership growth and profitability.
- Consistently achieve and exceed new vehicle sales targets.
- Support the performance of Parts, Service, and F&I departments by aligning with dealership-wide goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to support a culture of service excellence.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service standards across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and track key CMS performance metrics, including :
- Lead management
- Online traffic platforms (OTPs)
- Finance applications
- Test drives and demo bookings
- Deal closures and closing ratios
- Lost deal analysis
- Quality of deal files
Requirements
Must have min 5 years Automotive Car Sales experience at a franchise dealership – preferably, Suzuki, Haval, Chery, Mazda, Renault, MahindraSolid understanding of both new and used vehicle sales, aftersales operations, and F&I offerings.Strong grasp of key financial drivers and performance metrics relevant to dealership operations.MatricExcellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.Sound knowledge of FICA, FAIS, POPIA, and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).Proficient in MS Office and dealership-related systems.Familiarity with CMS or similar Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is essential.Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional local language will be an advantage.Must have a clear criminal and credit record, subject to standard verification checks.Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near the East Rand, for ease of access to the dealership.Resilience and the ability to work under pressurePC LiterateValid Drivers LicenseAutomotive Experience - non negotiableIf your current experience and skillsets tick majority of the job specification boxes, then :
