Debtors Manager

Job descriptionDevelop strategies to improve cash flow and accounts receivable processes Lead and support a team of debtors clerks Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures Monitor aging reports and implement collection strategies Approve credit applications and limits Conduct credit reviews to reduce risk Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers Resolve billing issues in collaboration with sales and operations Prepare reports on receivables performance and trends Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous) Minimum 3 years' experience in debtors management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Solid understanding of accounting and credit management Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel Analytical skills for financial reporting and forecasting Experience in logistics or transportation preferred Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines Opportunities for career growth and development Supportive and collaborative work culture
