An exclusive game-lodge portfolio in the Limpopo region is seeking a highly experienced Cluster General Manager to oversee two five-star lodges operating under one unified management structure.

Key Responsibilities
Operational & Commercial Leadership
- Lead all aspects of lodge performance, ensuring profitability, quality, and guest satisfaction targets are met.
- Oversee budgets, cost controls, and monthly financial reviews with lodge and finance teams.
- Implement yield management, cost discipline, and revenue-growth initiatives across the portfolio.
- Drive operational consistency, standardisation, and excellence across both properties.
Guest Experience & Brand Excellence
Maintain an active presence on the floor and among guests, ensuring personal engagement and consistent brand delivery.Champion guest feedback analysis and continuous improvement processes.Uphold luxury standards across all departments food & beverage, rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, and activities.Asset & Infrastructure Management
Oversee maintenance and capital projects to ensure assets are preserved and standards upheld.Implement preventive-maintenance systems and sustainability practices in alignment with best environmental principles.People Leadership & Culture
Mentor and guide lodge managers and department heads to drive accountability and excellence.Foster a positive, professional culture rooted in teamwork, discipline, and growth.Partner with HR to manage performance, training, and succession planning.Strategic Growth & Partnerships
Develop and execute strategies that strengthen the lodges positioning in the luxury safari market.Build relationships with tourism bodies, community partners, and conservation organisations.Identify opportunities for experience innovation, events, and commercial expansion.Minimum Requirements
Minimum 10 years hospitality management experience, including 5 years in a senior GM or cluster leadership role .Proven record in luxury lodge or 45 star hotel environments .Strong background in financial management, operations, and people leadership .Deep understanding of South African hospitality standards, compliance, and labour legislation .Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.Confident, hands-on leader who operates with integrity and calm under pressure.Passion for guest experience, sustainability, and conservation.Application Details
