Solar Product Specialist

Job Description

It’s Solar Panel Time! A global power company, operating in 30 countries, is looking for a Solar Product Specialist to join their team. The incumbent will be based in Johannesburg and must have in-depth technical knowledge of solar panels and inverters. The company works on utility scale plants and applicants must have demonstrable experience working on this scale. This position is the first point of contact in the Solar Design Unit for all incoming requests and issues related to main solar equipment of a solar power plant located in Africa, Asia, and Oceania region.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree is preferred)
• Knowledge of H&S laws and regulations
• Fluent English is required
• Must be available for domestic and international travel for meetings and for on-site support
• At least 3 years’ experience in the photovoltaic sector
