The successful candidate will be required to perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities to the required standards and assist with plant changeovers and equipment installations / upgrade contributing to throughput and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the availability of required tools and the secure storage of tools
- Performing inspections of equipment as per the relevant inspection checklist
- Using appropriate condition monitoring techniques to identify potential problems and reporting to supervisor
- Using fault finding techniques to identify problems / troubleshoot problems on motors drives PLCs welding equipment panels cranes etc.
- Assessing work required / disassembles equipment using appropriate tools / equipment
- Performing work in accordance with relevant SHE working procedures / works instructions

Relevant trade test qualificationMatricMinimum 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.Computer literateAble to work independentlyMust be willing to work shiftsMust reside in Vereeniging or surrounding areasKey Skills
