Azure Devops Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with 8-10+ years of experience to join our client in Johannesburg.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps solutions for enterprise-scale SaaS applications.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, release management, and environment automation.

Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and design effective DevOps solutions.

Design, implement, and maintain automated build, deployment, and configuration management solutions for enterprise applications.

Manage and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and tools to support continuous integration and delivery.

Work experience in Service Fabrics.

Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the DevOps environment.

Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.

Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.

Plan and manage all release activities.

Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities including the cut-over planning, execution of deployment plans, and checklists.

Conduct release readiness reviews and contribute to Business Go / No-Go reviews.

Work towards continual improvement in the release process.

Coordinate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth application delivery throughout the lifecycle.

Create and maintain different sandboxes / orgs throughout the project lifecycle.
