Key Responsibilities

• Prepare working papers and year-end accounts for sole traders.
• Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts; post entries into accounting software; complete bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns, including more complex cases requiring technical judgement.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Undertake project work requiring IT and technical expertise, including researching, reviewing, and implementing accounting solutions and internal controls to enhance performance.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries promptly and professionally.
• Support senior team members with ad hoc assignments as required.
